Aah here we are again. Every now and then there will be an update with an episode or so in after a long while of nothing. At least now B4FV Season Three, and B4FV in general is completed, and all that's left really is Season Five, and two movies.

A while ago the forms on the site decided to stop working, well the ones where you have to select your answers not the episode ones anyhow as they wouldn't show those results. They were replaced with a service supplied by the new webhost, unfortunately with 187 episodes with these forms at the end I wasn't really in a hurry to fix those ones, they worked fine. However for a while now I've been suspicious with the old forms as I didn't get one or two votes at all, and I do believe that there's more than I know. The new forms work great, so I think it's about time to make the transfer to the new system. Not all the episodes are sorted on the update itself, I'll probably do it after.. probably by the time you read this they'll be done. If you've voted for an episode and it didn't really change it's position on the Hall of Fame please re-vote. I do know somebody who did the same for one episode, when I just had forgotten to update it.. I didn't count that vote obviously. Out of that many episodes and not many visitors what are the chances that the same oldish episode would be voted for twice in a short space of time. Loved Up is an exception, brand new episode.. and I knew two people read it etc.. there is a third now, but that was months later.

Anyway FV turns six today so here's the traditional birthday message:
Six years and counting: Seven completed seasons, 187 episodes, three movies, one rival / hate site lol, and several loyal and great readers (you know who you are). Lets not forget that FV was the only site at the time to have celebrities play extra characters back in 2000, now there's a few I've discovered that are obviously younger, not to mention that there was a lack of actual series' going on and now there's too many to count. Also we seem to be one of the oldest fanfiction series out there that is still going on - possibly the oldest. Despite recent difficulties I am very proud of all of this, if I finish the series in 2007 or 2020, I'm still not going to regret the time I've spent on this site, and I hope that every reader (past, present and/or future) enjoyed/enjoys this place as much as I do.

So happy birthday Fifth Voyager, here's to Year Seven (shudder, lucky Seven). Lets hope that the amount of material increases, but still manages to keep the great quality that every episode that's two or so years old seems to have. And lets hope we finally get close to the actual finish mark with Season Five. Again here's to another year :)

Sorry guys, really really bad day (well bad days) for me lately. No matter how many times I've told my dad that working nightshifts isn't much different to working on the computer all night, it goes right over his head and he tells me "you need to get your sleep, it's not worth losing sleep over". I sleep in until evenings, and hours later I'm back at work.. if I wake up at 11am I'm told to go back to bed. Anyway I wake up at 5ish today, come on the computer to do some work, any work, and well discover my forum in well.. a way that really pissed me off, so long story short by the time I've calmed down the energy was gone, and I'm too depressed to work in the end. Below I did say that I'd have a template up for the 4th December event, but I don't see it happening as my plans conflict with at least one person who's fixing the damn place. As for the episodes, it'll really help if I am allowed to get up a lot earlier to work on them without getting a guilt trip or what have you from daddy dearest. Didn't I get enough sleep when I was unemployed, geeze. I'm so glad there is only four weeks of it left, but like "voluntary" work last year, it conflicts with the 4th December.

Anyway, desktops will only take an hour or so.. Alternate Scorpion may take a while to type up from paper, about that only a few ickle scenes are not written, the rest is just on notebooks. Then we've got the two Season 5 (one for the backup plan) episodes that have been started, those are usually a few days job if I don't have anymore sleeping in problems or forums distracting me. Speaking of those the forum is closed until I want it seen by the public again.

Regarding the movies, only one person voted in the User Involvement: The plan is to release Meets the Eye first, possibly another episode, the first part of the movie, one/two more episodes, the second part.. etc, you get the idea. This way both get the spotlight, yes this means the movie probably wont be finished for months and months, but it's better than nothing at all.

I've only just realised how close the site's sixth birthday was a few days ago, bad me. Straight to the point.. I do want an update ready before that, but I don't see it happening, so the backup plan is to combine all my plans into one big update on the birthday. For those who don't know, FV turns six on the 4th December, and every year I usually give the site a makeover.

This year tho I uploaded a nice red design in July, and well I still love it.. I don't want to replace it - cue another "i told you to save that design for later" from fred :p . That does give me less work to do, which does seem like it's breaking tradition. This year I have decided to give the forum a makeover instead (I think last year I was going to but it didn't happen until new year). If you still like this one, let me know, I may allow users to pick the template they like the best (don't choose subsilver, none of the mods will work like quick reply and what have you). Give the new one a chance, it'll probably a pretty red like the site (ooooh)

Obviously there are other things like I said above, these are: 

Slayer X update: the main cast was altered, so the site needed changing. Also episode guides will be up to date

Dimension 5.2 opening: Big news guys, Emma finished the first episode  That reminds me I was going to read it, oh well later lol. I still don't know when she wants to start the series but at least it's a step in the right direction. If she loses it again like past versions, I have a backup copy, or two when I get it off the cd.

New episodes: Alternate Scorpion finished (it just needs typing from notepads), Meets the Eye, and hopefully Dead or Alive which has been started btw.

Other main site updates like desktops, episode guides.. you get the idea 

Now work is going to go slow because I got a temp Xmas job that's night shifts. Speaking of which I need to go now. Discuss and what have you..

You should be used to these kind of news entries by now. Not much of Alternate Scorpion's been done I'm afraid.. I've really gotten stuck in a writers block for it, strangely enough I want to write, I open the notebook or whatever, and just get nothing from it (hard to explain really). I even tried writing Meets the Eye and the same happened, but at least the intro scenes are mostly done.

There's only two things I can do with this episode to get it finished: 

1 ) Attempt to type up those scenes I've wrote already and see if that helps. Note this sometimes doesn't work.. but at least the second part will have a similar style to the first (see below).

2 ) Write the second half episode a little different to what I planned.. this ep was going to be Scorpion with extra scenes and slightly different lines, but the only thing that appeals to me now is to change it a little. Right now I can't help but feel that I've got the Borg out of character for FV, remember Season 1 lol.. luckily I've already wrote a stupid joke scene on the borg cube that has to do with Janeway's er, time there. I'll not ruin it ^_^ Oh and there's the brief Seven cameo that should please, nobody here likes her right :p

What do you guys think should be done, and here's the better question, which one do you think I'll pick ^_^ AND do you think this'll get finished before November *laughs* I'd better go and update the home page for now.. ah well

I apologise for being a tad late. A few little things got in the way of me finishing parts 1/2 of Alternate Scorpion, one of them was an annoying headache, which is still around btw. The second half of the episode should appear later this week or over the weekend. If you find any mistakes in the episode, report it.. I've got this feeling that my spell checker screwed up as it corrected the word necessary by changing it into something else entirely lol. I doubt it really did anything else but there's the warning anyway.

In other news I've resurrected User Involvement for one more poll. Make sure you vote, if you want Season Five to go further and think "well there's no point in taking part in the poll, I don't care about the movie", and nobody votes at all (which happens too much for my liking, even for FV that's bad) then it's up to me, I still wont know which you'd rather have will I ^_^ You really should vote, I mean it's not like we're in 2001/2002/2003 (take your pick), releasing the movie will delay new Season Five episodes even further, and vice versa. Go here to cast your vote. Please wait for Alternate Scorpion to end first, I've given you the link and the time to think about your answer ^_^

Well the whole The Rhythm anniversary thing didn't go as according to plan, I've got no-one to blame but myself for that so I shouldn't complain. I did have trouble with Worse Case Scenario 1 at first, again my fault as I hadn't done any planning for the holodeck part of the story until last second.. the other two episodes were mostly written on paper ^_^ Stop making excuses Marill ^_^ Oh well at least now you know.

Anyway I had planned to get everything up at the end of September, all I managed was Loved Up and Worse Case Scenario 1. I had a good feeling that the first half of Alternate Scorpion would be ready for today, but I'm afraid I was mistaken. You never know, I may feel better very soon and finish the first half just in time.. but I doubt it. I don't want to share too much so all I'll say is that I'm annoyed with myself (and another), it's made me a little depressed, and I need to cheer myself up before continuing. A lot of the first half of Alternate Scorpion is done, I even added extra scenes ^_^ Now I just need to get to a good "End of Part 2" cliffhangery part, upload that and continue the episode for a complete release later this week. I can do it, and I will.

Hopefully I'll see you tomorrow for Alternate Scorpion and the new User Involvement Poll. For now enjoy what's here ^_^ It's still not bad, there's two episodes.. it's not like there's none at all.

As usual I'm slow to update after an episode update. I do want B4FV Season Three completed (minus the movie as it's kind of a solo outing anyway) before The Rhythm's second birthday on the 31st.. I don't know right now if it'll happen yet but it's certainly worth a try. It's my own fault if I don't, I can't blame a Japanese Pokémon game that I got the rom for, for being too addictive, typically I have the English version on pre-order so god knows I'll be addicted to that by the end of September, early October *smiles nervously*

Anyway Loved Up is mostly completed, on paper though but it's still better than nothing. Worse Case Scenario 1 will be typed up from scratch, and well you all know Alternate Scorpion had a head start ages ago. I really wasn't looking forward to Loved Up and Worse Case Scenario and you'll probably notice why mainly with Loved Up, Worse Case I'm more worried about making it not like the original too much. The only one I wanna write is the finale lol.

Anyway wish me luck in finishing the three episodes left in the prequels before or on the 31st, I'm gonna need it.

Sorry I'm a day late - all I can say was that there was a family emergency.

I hope you've liked at least one part of the gift, and I hope all the new B4FV material will keep some of you occupied while I recover and then get back to Season Five with Meets the Eye, then finish off the B4FV series ^_^. Yes there's only three more episodes to go, one of them is mostly written already so no worries. The movie though hasn't been attempted yet *cringe* so I don't expect that this month.

The season technically will be finished with Worse Case Scenario 1 / Alternate Scorpion and they should hopefully be up this month. It's The Rhythm's second birthday so I do want the season finished before then. That is the reason why the gift just had B4FV material, the other reason was that those episodes were more ready to be written than Meets the Eye, not Dead or Alive (that's ready) and Queuing Forever.

Once Meets the Eye is released, Season Five is only going to get better, and very very interesting. Trust me, the season arc really kicks off in Dead or Alive. When B4FV is done, well Season Five is on it's own.

One day to go ^_^

Mind Games will continue tomorrow when my hands have recovered a little from all the typing I've been doing. Like I've told my mam I've been on a writing streak not just cos I have to.. I'm telling you, I'm on fire yeah  (that explains why I've been feeling hot for over a week, yey)

The only reason the days appeared slower than I wanted was cos I had so much planned for End of the Day and Mind Games that I couldn't get rid of. I'll have Mind Games ready for tomorrow, unless I sleep in all day haha. No there's not much to do now, no worries.

Sorry I'm late as usual. All weekend I haven't been feeling too well, I'm guessing I've been using the computer/laptop too much as I've had aches and pains in my neck, arms, hands etc.. non stop. I didn't really do anything computer wise on Saturday, I did write on paper though. Today I've tried to catch up. Mind Games isn't finished, but I wanted some of it up anyway.. I'm still finishing it off so don't worry. The damn thing is pretty long as I imagined, it may be a two parter after all. Anyway the version that's online hasn't been divided into parts yet, and of course is unfinished.. but like I said I wanted it online today no matter what. I need Day Four up for the 31st, so this was the only way it would work. I don't expect any problems for Day Four and Five unless the pains make it even more difficult to type or well do anything computer related.

Today I have the second half of End of the Day, you'll understand why it's a morning update and only Parts 1/2 appeared Wednesday when you see the size of it. I've had to delete the recap completely from it as with it, it was fifth longest episode when I only got to about Part 4 - only about 7kb shorter than fourth (I deleted the recap when I realised this during writing, removing it made it drop to 14th place). I'm writing this part just before I did it, and well lets just say I'm enjoying myself thoroughly writing this episode, I really hope you like it as well.

I'm not sure when Day Three will appear, it may be Saturday as my writing schedule was delayed/thrown off all yesterday morning because of personal reasons. Like I've said in an earlier news post, a task in Day Three will take a lot of fiddly work. Luckily this morning I have an early start as I'm off to the doctors again at my version of the crack of dawn ^_^ As long as a certain someone doesn't throw me off again (I know, I'm such a nice person) I should be ok to work. I'd love for it to be up for Friday but I don't see it happening. All the other days are quicker and easier to finish off, actually it is just one day that's incomplete after Day Three's so they should appear quicker than these two. My plan at the moment is for Day Four to appear on Sunday or Monday, depending on how Day Three goes, and Day Five (the final day) to be the following well day lol. August the 1st is my deadline, so we'll see how it goes. Wish me good luck, and no more distractions ^_^ I know I'll feel lots better if I can complete this gift, it's so long overdue.

Day Two is here. My plan was going to be to get it online yesterday with one part of End of the Day, but I stupidly decided to finish typing it on my main computer. Of course I tried to get on the internet as soon as I went on, and spent all night trying to get online.. stupid Orange/Wanadoo was constantly engaged. If you see this update now, then I've finally gotten online, hurray. I managed to finish typing Part 1/2 this afternoon (and what was left of yesterday night and early this morning), there was much left to do anyway, and start typing up the rest of the second half. I'm hoping the rest of it will appear tomorrow on it's own unless I find something else to go with at the last minute.

The entire gift was prepared, and recently cut down by one day so two of the gifts I had no chance of completing in time could be taken out, and End of the Day was to be uploaded all on the same day.. so there's nothing I can use to go with it at the moment. It wont count as another "Day", Day Three has other stuff planned.. See you hopefully tomorrow if my state of mind and internet continues to behave ^_^ I hope you enjoy End of the Day as much as I've enjoyed writing it so far.

Hey guys welcome to day one of that surprise I promised you, which I'm sorry is a lot later than I expected. I really hope that you like the new design and of course all the goodies you'll get this week. Almost everything planned for this week is finished. Don't forget to check back possibly tomorrow, the day after.. etc, until my fully completion deadline, the 1st August.. or you could just wait until then and get all the goodies at once, it's not recommended though, it's a lot to go through ^_^

Please Note that it's very possible that Day 2 will be Wednesday at the earliest. My original plan was for the updates to appear daily, but as there's lots of uh.. fiddly work to be done to the final piece of Day 2's addition (same with Day 3/4.. haven't decided which day it'll be yet) it might not make it for Tuesday.

Will this heatwave ever, ever end.. it's like working in your non air conditioned hotel room in Spain, Cyprus etc.. with the only source of cold is a carton of orange juice, a quick stand by the fridge, an ice pop or two and the windows which you're afraid to open as the insect world just literally love to bug you. Bah..

Apart from the gift I've been working on B4FV Season Three as it's nearing it's second birthday *cringe*, honestly these and my personal problems have delayed me working on this gift any further. They are the point of the site so that's why at times I've given them priority.

Fantastical is finished, well excluding the scenes on paper that I have yet to type up, there's just a few biggish ones really. Without those the episode is in the Top 20 largest single episodes, so you can expect quite a big episode once it's all typed up. It's release date is depending on how much of the gift is completed by mid week. If I can't make my new 17th deadline (which is possible), and the gift has a chance of making it on the 24th/26th (26th would be easier for me, as the original files for it has the 26th June written on them ^_^), then Fantastical will be added to it. If however the gift is still nowhere near ready for the third deadline (26th), I will know by the 23rd as Friday and Saturday I don't get to do much work unless I stay up all night.. then Fantastical will be released on that day, and removed from the gift.

End of the Day: Changed to a two parter as a lot is going on, plus we haven't had a two parter since episode nine, Yesteryear 0_0 A lot of scenes have been done, mostly on paper though. I had to reorganise scenes, add new ones recently as I wasn't pleased with it.. that's where a lot of my time's gone (when my lazy body & mind actually let me work without distraction that is). I just thought I'd let you know, it's being written, no worries.

Mind Games: As I changed the plot of James' dreams once again, I had to edit the scenes I wanted to use from the original Mind Games in Season Two. The only real life scenes I kept was half of a bridge scene with Janeway telling a story about coffee to Chakotay. Also the beginning scenes are almost done, I'm just trying to think of a way to finish the second of last one properly.. oh well. After I'm done with those, the rest of the dream will be done.. if I keep going this way, this will be a two parter as well. I don't want it to be, rest assured.. I'll think of something. As for the real scenes, there isn't many of those, and of course after End of the Day I have to write them in a different way to I had planned (you'll understand when these episodes are released).

Alter Ego: First couple of scenes done, if all goes well it should be short/average sized episode, well for the season anyway.

The gift itself is doing very well, the problem is the episodes I've been writing like I said and the fact that the last few things I've planned for it I haven't been able to get in the mood to do them right, it's like writing you can't do it properly if there's a block. I really did have the right amount of time to do them when I first gave out my first deadline, but you know things usually happen to stop me. When I failed to do it I felt I'd better concentrate on the episodes, again I slowed myself down.

Ok that's all, I've talked WAY too much.

Whoever bet that I'd not make the deadline on the 25th/26th can collect their winnings now (not from me, I didn't bet.. *nervous laugh*). Personally two weeks ago, I thought I had a very good shot at getting the entire surprise done in time but of course, something went wrong. Believe me, a LOT of the surprise is finished, ready to be uploaded.. each day's update's been prepared in advance so I didn't have to do as much daily.. I knew it was premature at the time but what's done is done. Unfortunately something happened around my birthday that screwed the plan up.

I knew I was getting something on my birthday that would help loads, it did wonders it really did.. a lot of work got done and I was feeling very very optimistic that I'd hit a deadline for once. Then it happened - no, the gift itself is fine still, more than fine   it's done it's job considering what's been happening. No what decided to happen around my 21st (not thee 21st, my 21st.. which was on the 13th) was a very very serious family related incident. When I say that June is the new May, I'm not kidding.. this subject has bothered me since May 2002, I remember it affecting me with the writing of Oasis of Abatua, and usually around other May's, stuff relating to it would happen (and/or something else did)

I'd rather not share anymore than that, other than a depressed/angry/upset (take your pick) mood keeps appearing to stop me doing my work, and I've had to stop to do other things to cheer me up, god damn it. It hasn't helped that one of the people involved keeps on making me in this mood by continuously asking me questions I can't answer.. just when I've cheered up  

So in conclusion, I've been too messed up to come even close to finishing on time for Monday. I don't know when the next deadline is, but believe me I want a part of it online on a June date. That is all, well no.. sorry everybody, you will get this gift, I've worked very hard on it and I'm proud of the amount I've done so far, not to mention the quality of it. I'll let you know how I'm getting on very soon.

Hey guys, hopefully this will be a quick news post. I'm working on that surprise I told you about, and I've finally chosen the first deadline for it: 25th/26th June (usually I work late into the night, so if that happens on the 25th, it could actually turn out to be the 26th) .. the whole thing wont appear at once, if it all goes right, it should be fully online by the end of the week of the deadline (Friday 30th / Saturday 1st July).

And no.. I'm still not saying what it is, I'm sure you'll like it though - also guesses are allowed, lets see if anyone guesses it correctly. Oh and lets see if I can make the deadline.

Wow I haven't seen so much feedback for Fifth Voyager in a long time. Today in my mail box I got a notice saying I had positive feedback on fanfiction.net, and four episodes of Season Five have had votes here (our Now Showing episode has two, I haven't had anything like that for a new episode since In The Eye and that received three). To all those who have made my day great, thanks loads.. though I don't think Virtual Fairytale deserves it with it not being all there. One of these days..

That damn Episode Guide I decided to do was a really really bad idea to do during an episode shortage. Never mind, live and learn. It has taken me a long long time and there's still lots and lots of empty spaces in it. I'm not wasting anymore time on it, I have an episode ready to type up and release. I want the next Season Five episode online in May, however want and May don't go well together in the same sentence, unless there's a don't. I'm so glad May's almost over but at the same time I'm worried that B4FV3's only managed to get three episodes ahead of what it was a year ago, and Season Five will of had about seven episodes since it's debut on the 13th June. Where on earth has all the time gone???

I have slowly but surely been working on that Episode Guide, Vulpix didn't warn me that doing those things for a series that's got 170 odd episodes is very time consuming, and draining. I didn't expect to fully complete it as there's a lot of information planned to go in it, but it's taken a while just to do the parts I wanted. A lot of episodes do have the 'Interesting Facts' one done, so that's a plus.

As for episodes, the next Season Five ep One Hundred & One Lies is almost finished (on paper), and the typing process has already begun. As usual it's going to go slow if I copy it word for word, I like to add extra stuff otherwise it just gets boring. As for Fantastical I haven't touched that in a while, but I will get back to it.

Brief news, this is a basic update really. Despite planning to put forward kids (mainly) only episode 'Where is Everyone' just last week or so, I've already scrapped the idea and is still going with 'One Hundred & One Lies' for the next Season Five installment. Check below for an update on the episodes themselves.

It's May: Marill's unluckiest month of the year, though I am hopeful that cos this year's been crap for well everything that May's going to be lucky(ier) than all the other months. It's already the first and I'm in the mood to write three episodes, obviously I can't do all at once and two of them can't be released until ones before it are *sigh*

I haven't done any writing on Alternate Scorpion for ages so I plan to catch up - obviously if I had stuck to the one scene a day plan the episode would be finished and movie would be underway, so realistically I'm going to catch up as if it were a one scene a week scheme. I was planning on writing/catching up in one full day, that might be tomorrow or Wednesday.

Another episode I've been thinking a lot about is 'Where is Everyone', I really fancy writing it and it doesn't have to fit in a certain spot in the season so I can put it forward. As you may or may not know this one has just the kids in until near the end, so Duncan's the only real main castmember starring in it (yey), but my idea was to swap it with One Hundred & One Lies so it's the next Season Five ep, but Virtual Fairytale is only two episodes later, and then there's Dead or Alive which main stars are: James, Jessie, Dr Jones, and Duncan. Hmm, see the problem there? This means Duncan will get a lot of episodes where he's one of or is the main star at the beginning of the season, and he wont get anymore of these episodes until episode 16: Heaven Sent.

This would mean this three part series above will arrive later (unless I do ditch the confusing episode Time About) and believe me this isn't a good thing.. I know my regulars (you know who you are, wave if you do) will love these ^_^ Ok no more hints hehe. The rest of the series will stay the same.

Comments would be nice too. One Hundred & One Lies is ready to be written, that's why I've left it early in the series instead of moving it to Where is Everyone's slot at number 17.

Oh and the other episode is Fantastical, lets hope you'll see this and whatever episode 6 of Season Five ends up being, soon.

I did have this nice update for you planned for 31st March but due to having busy weeks before hand and the computer refusing to work I was unable to finish it then, let alone get it online. I really don't know why for three months I've been doing 90% of my writing in notebooks rather than on the computer, rest assured I wasn't just doing nothing the whole time - I should take a picture of the three notebooks, two of which are full or are two pages away from it, with the episodes I'm giving you today to prove it. I've also been doing lots of Season Five planning, so lets hope the notebook phase is gone thanks to typing most of Responsibility from a notebook - check the size of it, you wont believe me.

Anyway the big news is that the site has properly been updated after way too long, and I've got three brand new episodes for you (about damn time ey?). I've still got my special gift in progress so look out for that. Oh and yes I did lie in my last forum news update, but that was to try and throw you off and surprise you ^_^ I still am nowhere near making it up to you though so hopefully expect more soon.

Vulpix has asked me to integrate some of the stuff from The Magazine into the official. Work has begun on that, I'll be doing some of the material until she gets back into the swing of things. You'll notice some of the stuff on the menu. She has mentioned a few interactive features, but lately everybody hasn't been interested in any of that stuff *sigh*

Last but not least, as there's been no votes for ages I've posted the rather shoddy results for the FV Awards 05. It was my own fault for adding way too many categories, and having that Nomination Round. I've selected the categories most popular / and ones I hope to see results on and began again, it'll probably be the 06's but never mind. Best Episode include more Season Five/B4FV Season Three's in there..

Hey guys, for once I'm delivering good news. My update is almost completed, I know it's late but that's our "favourite" (rather mine, I've been solo for a while now) word for the last year or so 0_0 Like I said last week I plan on having it done by the weekend, but one thing's soo sooo close to completion and the other should get done rather quickly, so I plan to have it up by oh say, Friday morning.

I know what you're all thinking, I may as well be posting possible release dates for the Red Dwarf movie, or a comeback time for Lene*, or just thinking 'for gods sake, how long does it take to type up just one/two/three episode(s)'. But unlike the first two this will happen this month, if it doesn't somebody send me to a therapist, something's wrong 

*I'd make a sarcy joke about LSL's album release date, but who knows it may be happening as long as they're not depending on Electric's chart position in Australia - treky if it appears in New Zealand, buy buy the single.. if it has remixes send me a copy, I'll pay ^_^

Oh and if you didn't know already, the episode to go with this update (don't kill me, this is the only episode being officially released in the update) is completed, it was last week and was sent out to the readers (yes plural, cheeky ^_^) subscribed to the Episode Notification list. For those two don't worry there's some other stuff in the update, guess away to what it is, I just hope I don't disappoint you.

Yes this year I've managed to get worse, I blame my New Years Resolution as I tried to make a few in a way so the opposite would happen, no such luck. Oh and look out for Programmable You not long after the update, maximum a week - that's almost completed too, and lets just say it's really good but not small like I expected ^_^

What's Going On With The Episodes
Responsibility: Yes this is almost finished, but in pieces on my computer and in two notebooks (see below, it explains there's a lot). I really want you to read this so I must force myself to type it.. you'll love it. There's also a very special guest star in which I will black out in the Special Guest Star list at first so I don't fully spoil it.

Phase In Time: Lets just say all you dedicated fans - you know who you are, will love this one. I don't want to ruin some of it so I'll leave it for the spoiler topic which I'll do next. Lets just say if you liked Tomorrow's Voyager, you'll think this is 10x better. Also there's an adorable couple of flashbacks of James & mainly Jessie as kids. Again to not spoil who appears, the special guest star list will be blackened out. This is also nearly completed.. but for a while only a scene had been wrote so it's all been happening just this week. Ooh the excitement.

Programmable You: I promised myself that was a computer only episode to see if writing on paper was why I'm going slower than before, but of course because of what happened - see below, I had to write some on paper. A lot is on the computer anyway. This is a short episode and once I get back to it, it'll be finished in my version of no time.

The Special Gift: I'm hoping this'll be ready for either the 31st or 1st April, and yes I have been working on this too as well as above. That's impressive for me lately lol. Believe me, you'll love this ^_^

I am really really hoping something will happen before the end of the month. I'll end up being the cause of my own mental break down if I don't.

From now on, any episode updates (info, don't get your hopes up as I'm hopeless), will go at the top btw ^_^ Anyway..

Here's a question. Who would you rather kill? Me or the spammers who keep appearing and posting crap?? It doesn't matter how many anti-spam stuff you have, it seems to get through more than ever - how does that work? And of course you've got me who forgets to take html files and stuff when I visit my mam's for a while, and would rather write on paper if I feel like writing at all. Who's the most pathetic.. damn I wish polls were working.

It just isn't a news report without an explanation or two ^_^ 

Two weeks ago today I went over to my mam's to look after her, and unlike any normal person I didn't forget something like a toothbrush, no I forgot my episode files, the program I write them on and my computerised notes - though I did remember some of my paper stuff, not all. I wrote in notebooks but that's it. I've been on the forum a few times to you know, remove the crap and check 100x more crap in my email inbox/spambox's, but other than playing computer games a little I haven't been on a computer all that much since.

Though if I could, I'd prove that I have almost two full notebooks full to type up from episodes that should of been up at the beginning of the year *slaps forehead*. Honestly the thought of typing up so much has kept putting me off, and my solution was to what you ask.. write more on paper so I wouldn't be doing nothing, [sarcasm]brilliant ey[/sarcasm]. Ok again I'm going to do my update you on what's been done, and probably "disappear" again.

Insert depressing or celebratory music here, depending on how you feel about it ^_^ 

Also as I'm back on the computer, I figured it would be a good idea to complete more of the Episode Discussion - tell me now if it's pointless now guest posting has been mostly removed. Of course the idea is to get used to typing again so I can get started on the two books full* of the episodes at the top:

Ok I'm only posting this so you know that I'm still around (sorta) lol. Is this year flying over like last year was, only faster or is it just me?? Anyway lets update on what's happening.

Responsibility: I seem to be getting more ideas for it than scenes typed up these days.. that's true of a lot, I am not going slow because I'm low on ideas (far from it) but it's due to laziness, game cube addiction (so glad I'm stuck on both games so much that I'm annoyed with them >_<) and probably overwhelming myself with too much ideas. Ack. Anyway this episode is in the typing stage, at the same time I've been doing Programmable You and plotting the next episodes.

Programmable You: Trust me, this one should be easy. Responsibility I've made it confusing for myself - I keep getting put off by the so many things happening, and having them all mixed up etc.. This one's short but sweet. It may appeal to Craig fans, plus the kids fans too ;)

Virtual Fairytale is broken, god dammit. Yeah that is all, I haven't even looked at it yet.

.. God I'm useless, anyway.. Somebody take away the cold and my bloody warm bed and the game cube and maybe more work will get done. In fact I'm thinking of putting the cube in my room, there's no TV to play it on heh.

The surprise: I'm also working on this baby. I can't say what it is, but you're free to speculate. It will happen and there will be more to come as well.

I'll keep you up to date the best I can. Let me know you're still here (that doesn't mean you you bloody spammers, f*** off), and maybe that'll help a tad.

Hey guys, quick news for ye all. 

I'm finally free from my 13 week course, everything properly returns to normal tomorrow. Though I do have an addictive new Game Cube with 2 addictive new Pokémon games, luckily the one I bought first I've cleared the main story part. ha. I wouldn't worry I woke up this morning in the mood to work, work and work some more.

Of course my computer and the bloody spammers living on the forums had other ideas.

Ok the basic news really is the following: To make up for everything this year, cos lets face it there's been nothing but an episode being fixed, I have a surprise in the making. I'm not saying what it is, and you'll only know when it's happening. I'm NOT going to give you a date for it either as you know me, I can't stick to them. Just keep a look out.

Hey guys, how is everyone. All I seem to do here now is keep u up to date on what's going on or fix stuff, oh well.. Here's an update on what's happening. If you want to skip me explaining and whatnot (a regular FV occurrence nowadays) just scroll down until you see bold writing.

I've nearly completed my 13 week course, as of today I've got six (with 2 days holidays I can still take off if I want) days to go and I'm either going to be free to do what I want during the day again or be forced to find a job at some point when my Job Centre decides my fate regarding the four month old incident they decided to bring back that I don't remember. - Boy that was a long sentence lol. This job does tire me out mentally, and sometimes psychically too but rest assured it doesn't mean I haven't done a thing at all. I've done plenty considering I've done the following over the past week..

- Rearrange my messy, depressing bedroom into something of a masterpiece *beams in pride until notices that I still haven't sorted out all my clothes, some of which is on the floor* ok um..

- Get my computer fixed at long last. It's had trouble starting up ever since Outbreak was lost for about 24 hours back in *thinks* November, good god.. time is still flying. If backing up my entire messed up hard drive's stuff, formatting it and installing windows wasn't time consuming enough, I had to rebuild everything else on the comp's hard drive/system from scratch. My internet decided to mess up, making it incredibly difficult to get drivers (again) for my graphics card.. my monitor is frickin' dark and horrible without it, and don't get me started on the scroll bars *shudders*

Anyhow.. yesterday was the first day in a while I've been able to work on the comp, though it does have a little habit of forgetting to put my bitrate back after playing Roller Coaster Tycoon. Note that and Civ2 is the only games I've played in yonks so don't tell me off or anything :p (excluding that new Game Cube Pokemon game that I bought for my mam's new console, I played it for half an hour and am already in love with it)

Anyway, I've yapped on way too long yet again. You want to know about the episodes, ok you got it : 

Facing Fears: yesterday I continued rewriting the missing scenes - I did do another scan to find them b4 formatting the drive so it's necessary, But I'm pleased I did.. I'm very proud of the only large missing scene near the end, it's better than the first attempt. You'll see it sometime tonight, I've just got to finish retyping two large scenes.

Responsibility: I haven't checked as it's scattered between about three notebooks but I have been writing it at work whenever it's quiet when I'm on my own manning the till, or having my dinner.. and quite a bit of it's done. None of it's typed yet but if Facing Fears Mark 2 is anything to go by, it wont take long to type.

Phase In Time: Note you'll be VERY confused with how Facing Fears ends, and I mean very very. Luckily I'm already writing the.. continuation (it isn't the conclusion but it will explain a little bit, Fantastical and End of the Line explains better). There's some really cute flashbacks written revolving around Jessie's childhood and there's one from B4FV Season 2 that we didn't see. Anyway it's a good read so far, however I haven't gotten to the alternate reality Voyagers but when I do there's fun to be had ^_^

I really do hope you see this sooner rather than later, 2006 hasn't had a new episode yet.. even 2005 had the Season Four finale in January *shakes head* I just hope this doesn't mean I'm going to be worse this year than last. I hope everyone's still around btw, one of these days everyone's going to desert me in disgust for being too slow

This is just a quick update to let you know what's happening. I have been writing Responsibility at work in places whenever I can, but it's been going slow as I've been juggling work, the new forum template and features (which would of went quicker if at least three things hadn't of messed up), one day I spent doing a MarilLena's Gallery update, fixing Facing Fears.. more about that later, being ill for over a week.. you get the idea. What's been really eating up my time is (work and) the forums, the polls are not working and I spent forever trying to find the problem and to fix it with no success, I delayed for ages the rest of the work needed to be done. It's still a problem but at least now the forums are as done as they'll ever be, the latest problems are the search and private messages part. I've ended up getting old deleted ones back and I think other peoples, and search can't even seem to find common words like "and". Lets face it I've had it with the forums which have wasted all my spare time, except this week as my illness has wasted about 75% of it, so I'm going to leave it for now and put episodes as main priority as I should.

Now back to Facing Fears.. it's a bit messed up on my hard drive, that's probably why my FTP couldn't upload it. I wish I noticed it sooner, but whenever I've had a chance to leave my disobedient restart and scan disk happy computer alone for ten minutes, I've let it scan for the file like I did when Outbreak broke months ago. So far it's found bits and pieces, luckily a good 90% is on paper so I've been slowly typing it up in places it's missing.. thank god I didn't delete the old plot. While typing this I just had a thought, Vulpix read the whole thing before it was spell checked and hadn't been checked through for typos, so I'll have to ask her to send me a copy, ala The Rhythm (part 2 anyway). Sometime I'll have to get my computer fixed, but I see that taking a few days and I'd rather get at least one or two eps released before then. Oh well at least I've only got four weeks of my work left, though if the Job Centre have their way I'll have to get a job to fund my internet (and sky).. lets hope they don't have their way, and I can do what they probably call nothing (website stuff btw) for another couple of months.
