28th December 2003
Hi guys, hope you had a good Christmas, and more importantly are not sitting at your computer complete with a nasty hangover. Oh wait, I'm expecting that on this Thursdays update ^_^

We've received another award from USS New Jersey, so lots of thanks to them ^_^ Also the first User Involvement poll since May is running more smoothly than I expected, I've had lots of votes coming in but if you haven't already, go and get your vote in.

Now B4FV Season Two draws to a close as we've got, count em, four episodes to go. Well technically four and a half to go. The half been Images in the Mind's third and fourth parts, don't ask me what happened as I'm still confused (and very annoyed) about it myself. I loaded the file to finish it off one day and it was gone, the template for the file was there but the episode was gone. Don't ask me what happened, because I wish I knew. I did write it on paper but I lost that too.. whoever's fiddling with my stuff own up now and I promise I wont scream at you ~_^

Getting back to the original point, today starts off B4FV Season Two's second marathon. Hopefully things will now run smoothly, unlike the disastrous first marathon.. and I was so prepared for that one as well ¬_¬ You may know the routine by now, come by at these times and I hope to see you then, well not literally of course. (For those who came by in the early hours of today the schedule has been changed since I haven't finished Sweet Sensation or Basics yet. It is quite hard to type up one episode that's already been written on paper and write two other episodes from scratch in one and bit days.. the damn keyboard wasn't the only problem I had with this new computer >_<)
(UK time) | Paper Bag: 12:30 | Sweet Sensation: 23:00 | Basics: 12:00, 29th January |

 26th December 2003
Just a quick notice, I basically got a new computer yesterday, and unluckily I can't plug my old keyboard into it. Of course I am using my mam's computer here to type this up, so no sarcy remarks ^_^ I'll need another day or two to finish this update. I'm really sorry about this, just remember that I'm probably more annoyed about this than you are ^_^

 22nd December 2003
Sorry about the lateness, I didn't get back home until god knows what time on Friday, I do plan on making it up to you guys with bigger than usual updates. You will obviously have noticed the splash page has changed (it took me ages to fiddle with that image so it wouldn't take that much longer to load than before), since Vulpix has finished her temp job she's had time to type up some spoilers (plus she's working on the Magazine's new 2004 design) you can check what else is new via the Updates part of the left menu ^_^

You can now get involved in episode writing again, to re-start this section is the first poll for Shattered Time. Don't forget to check that out. Also Round Seven of the FV Awards Episode Nominations is up a little later than it should so nominate before it's too late. Only two more rounds to go ^_^

Images in the Mind's third and fourth parts should be up in the early hours of tomorrow as I've only got a few scenes to do. Sorry for the delay but it is a complicated episode and it was one of those ones we had to be careful with, like the Resolutions Saga. If we're not careful with it one or two ideas for it may get left out. It's hard to explain really. You'll remember that the final Resolutions saga installment was partly late because I had to carefully write that too, and well that turned out like I planned ^_^

Hopefully this week I'll have better luck on Boxing Day instead of Christmas Day. I thought it would be best if I gave myself an extra day, just in case. Besides the plan for Christmas Day is for me and my dad to go over my mam's, and you know how annoying my mam's computer is ^_^ This is next week's schedule:
(UK time) | Paper Bag: 11:00 | Sweet Sensation: 16:00 | Basics: 21:00 |

 19th December 2003
The B4FV Marathon was already extended to technically two days, but I'm still going to have to extend it further thanks to the constant crashing early yesterday AND the later internet cutting off every twenty odd seconds or less. Sometimes the internet cuts me off cos it's busy at certain times so that was probably the cause of the bother. Tomorrow is Vulpix's birthday so everything will be uploaded later in the day, but not too late as the internet's busy then. Anyway here is the brand new schedule courtesy of my bad luck:
(UK time) | Images in the Mind Parts 3/4: 18:00 | No Matter What: 22:00 |

Oh and Images in the Mind Parts 1/2 should be fixed now.. the internet kept cutting me off right near the end of the upload but it still managed to cut off half of the damn file (can you see the logic in that?). Luckily I noticed that I hadn't updated the cast listings there so that's been edited.

18th December 2003 - It's that time of the month, B4FV Marathon One has begun ^_^ Bare with me as I explain what's going to happen today. Each episode in the marathon will arrive on their own separate time, obviously starting with the earliest episode Run or Hide. Below is the time schedule (slightly changed due to constant computer crashes and me noticing while uploading Run or Hide that there's a two parter afterwards), hope to join you guys then.
(UK time) | Run or Hide: 15:59 | Images in the Mind Parts 1/2: 20:59 | Images in the Mind Parts 3/4: 00:59 | No Matter What: 04:59 |

Oh and I must apologise for not putting Sibling Rivalry up as promised, I had to escape from my house cos of problems with my dad so I went over to my mam's. Unfortunately I forgot about her cursed CD-RW, it does not like my re-writable CDs >_<

11th December 2003 - It's official, life sucks and so do I. I'd better not go any further than that or nobody will read the actual news lol. I tried my best to get both Sibling Rivalry (Version 2) and Lullaby up this week but I'm afraid you've just gotten Lullaby for now. I've not been in writing form this week (once again, I'm NOT going to go any further on that ^_^) but I will try and get Sibling Rivalry up over the weekend.

Not that we (or rather I nowadays lol) really deserve it but Fifth Voyager won another award. Apparently we are the first ones to win an award at that site, plus we got the highest award of them all, oh well *shrugs* While uploading all of today updates I noticed the site won another award, so actually there's two ^_^

Oh and while doing this update I noticed that the page where you can vote for an episode you liked, the link to it was wrong on the episode pages only. I fixed it in the quickest way possible: changing the file name back to the original and editing one or two other links. It was better than editing the links on 130 episode files >_<

Lastly I just want to inform you that the splash page will be changed when I have the time to fiddle around with it. I made last minute changes to FV 2004 (well last day changes) to make the frames work better in different resolutions, I didn't really think it was a dire emergency to change the splash page straight away.

6th December 2003 - Like last year the new year has not gotten off to a good start, but like last year everything will pick up in a few days. The episode Lullaby was suppose to be added two days ago, and believe me I'm pretty annoyed at myself that it wasn't, but it will definitely appear. The episodes that are missing in Season Four are not bad or hard episodes to write, it's me as per usual. Firstly I'm ill again >_< and secondly I was my usual depressed self due to work since I had to quit (long story, if the job had paid me weekly or fortnightly I wouldn't have this 'not enough money for bus fares' problem). Not long ago I started to get back into the spirit of things and cheered up a little, so once I've finished sorting this updated out I'll get to the writing part of the job ^_^

Don't forget to vote in Round Six of the FV Awards Episode Nominations. I would of mentioned it in updates but I figured that the 4th December updates should remain for a lot longer ^_^

4th December 2003 - It seems only an odd few months ago the site was celebrating it's second birthday and now we're starting off year four. I've got lots of news and information about the new layout to tell so I'll put it all into an article, as I usually do.

The episode Lullaby will be up later in the night.. the computer decided to crash while I was writing, and well it took me ages to get the computer to load up fully. I am writing as you read this so please be patient.

You may notice that the episode Sibling Rivalry is not working right now, don't worry I am aware of it. Not long after I uploaded it I checked through it and I did not like it at all, I did write it during a horrible writers block after all. I quickly deleted but forgot to update the site itself to tell you. I'm really sorry for any inconvenience. You may remember that episode four, Flesh Eaters is still not around, well I've decided to re-write it for similar reasons. That's why it's taken so long for it to appear, I haven't had time to do so >_< Once again I apologise for messing up.

Sibling Rivalry and fellow rejected episode Flesh Eaters will hopefully be re-written and appear before the new year.
On a final note, this site wouldn't be celebrating the end of it's third year (and the beginning of a fourth year) if it wasn't for all of you guys. So lots of thanks on behalf of the entire staff, current and former ^_^ I know I said this last year but please keep coming back to Fifth Voyager, we owe it all to you xxxx

 7th November 2003
Back to Saturday updates already? Lol, that wasn't intentional I swear ^_^ This should be just a one off, excluding the fact that the Episode Nominations have to be updated every second Saturday.

B4FV Season Three's listings have seriously been edited due to bad editing in B4FV Season Two. The latest episode was based in April 2372, yet the first episode of the main series was based between June the same year and March 2373, and that starts during a B4FV Season Three episode, episode 16 to be exact >_< Check the Episode Archive for the new listings.. Also the schedule's already been altered as the episode No Matter What is not the kind of episode that should be released on Xmas day. The listings are the same, I just put No Matter What in the first marathon and it's replacement is in the second one. Sorry about that.

Ok back to Season Four... The episode Lullaby has been moved to episode nine, so that one will be released on the site's birthday instead of Sibling Rivalry (which is now episode eight) for the following reasons: A) It's an important episode, it's taken ages to sort out everything and put all the ideas for it together. It's still only a few scenes long ¬_¬ B) Since it's part of the storyline started in the first ever episode, Lullaby would be a better episode to release on the site's third birthday anyway ^_^

But of course, it wouldn't be fair to update again with no material so enjoy the latest Season Four installment (which was going to be a Season Five episode ^_^), Unleashed.

 1st November 2003
Bad news and good news I'm afraid. The good news is that I've got a Christmas job ^_^ the bad news is that it will take up more of my time. The Fifth Voyager 2004 episode release date has been brought forward because of this. I was going to start updating on Thursdays once that version was released since Saturdays are the only days I really get to see my mam now, and every week I've had problems updating. It would be better for the site and for me if I went back to a during the week update day. The episode schedule has been changed dramatically (yes again) as a result.. Season Four is basically going on as usual (just a few days off of course) but B4FV Season Two's final episodes, excluding the finale itself, will be released in three episode marathons during December, one of them being on Christmas day lol. I don't really mind working on that day since my sister wont be back home until January, and well Christmas isn't Christmas without her lol. Anyway the finale itself is still scheduled for the 1st January 2004, I'm determined to have the finale released on that day for some reason ^_^

 27th October 2003
The forum is back up thanks to Clive ^_^ However the re-directing URL forum.fifthvoyager.net may not update for some straight away (it did for me so you shouldn't have a problem ^_^) so if that link doesn't work for you, just go directly there via this link.

 26th October 2003
Memories has finally hit the net, finally! I would of gotten it up earlier if it wasn't for the damn internet cutting me off every five minutes >_< Raichu and I had to rely on email messages in the end. Of course how we did it is not what is important, what is, is that Memories is finally available so enjoy!

 25th October 2003
Because of the mid week update for Rites of the Crypt and the fact that the earliest time Raichu could get online was today, Memories has been delayed until tomorrow. We are working on this episode now, and we don't really want to rush it. Don't worry we wont cancel it again, we both came up with this episode idea yonks ago and we both want you lot to be able to read it. Also this time we have lots of ideas for it, unlike last time ^_^ Lol this'll be the third day in a row I'll be up until god knows what time, not that I mind. You never know, we may get it finished in the early hours of tomorrow.

 23rd October 2003
In the coming weeks every single episode of Fifth Voyager will be fully checked so mistakes can be corrected, colours and fonts can be edited etc, you get the idea. You see I want to get every episode 'cleaned up', if you get what I mean there, by the series' third birthday on the 4th December. I've found a lot of Season One's episode have a lot of little mistakes in them like for example, there are too many exclamation points lol. Also a lot of the episode banners will be edited or even replaced by new ones, and I may design some for Season One.

Back to today though The Rites of the Crypt parts three and four are available now (a couple of hours too late, my very bad >_<).. I'm quite proud of this episode though, so I hope you enjoy it. Don't forget, this Saturday will mark the release of an episode that was originally in Season Two and was cancelled over two whole years ago. Lets just hope history doesn't repeat itself ^_^

 18th October 2003
The episodes Lullaby and The Rites of the Crypt have swapped places in the Season Four episode listings. I do need a little more time to plan Lullaby, and since The Rites of the Crypt is more developed than any of the early season episodes, I decided that releasing that one today would be a better idea. Also this week's episode is a four parter, so expect the second half of the episode to appear 22nd October, at the latest.

In other news the Picture Archive is 50% complete. At the latest you could expect it to be fully up with pictures of every main castmember by Fifth Voyager 2004's release (4th December).

 12th October 2003
Once again I'm sorry for the lateness of the episode Lately (hey I just got that.. late, Lately ^_^). Down to today's business, work has begun on Fifth Voyager 2004 and I'm quite impressed with it so far, but it does have a long way to go yet. I've made a little change to the episode schedule as I forgot that the site will close on the 29th November. The episode 'Sweet Sensation' was due for release on that day, but it's been delayed until 11th December.

Second bit of business, Round Two of the FAFVA Episode Nominations began in the early hours of today. If you haven't voted already, go here to vote (also don't forget if you haven't voted in the other polls please do so via this link).

 10th October 2003
No update really, just a warning about tomorrow. I was very ill yesterday, a little depressed (not going any further on that), and today I'm just well enough to give you this warning. Anyway the warning is the site may not be updated tomorrow because of all this. I did try to get the episode written on Tuesday and Wednesday.. Tuesday was fine, but Wednesday some things got in the way (hence the start of the depression faze ^_^). I will try today, promise. I could get it done today as I've already put in one and a bit days towards this episode already, so there's a good chance that this warning is for nothing. Hopefully see you tomorrow.. if not, I'll see you during the week.

 4th October 2003
You may have noticed that the second part for Up In Smoke came online on Tuesday, so I hope you enjoy it as it did take me forever to write it lol. Now that the Resolutions Saga is over and done with, Season Four can now continue with the episode Body Swap.. enjoy. Also Vulpix has told me that the episode Flesh Eaters isn't working so I've deleted it from the Episode Archive, Site Log and Favourite Episode Poll until I figure out what's wrong, and fix it. I'll keep you informed about that.

Webmasters Notice: Just to be annoying I'm going to show off the fact that I now have Lene's new album, a Japanese Import (with two extra tracks), as a late birthday pressie. I told you that the really annoying fact that Lene isn't releasing her stuff in the UK for ages wasn't going to stop me ^_^ Go to 'Other Stuff' and then 'Top Tens' for a review of the ten best tracks (the other four are pretty good too ^_^) Anyway enough bragging, see you next Saturday.

 27th September 2003
While on a break during the writing of Up in Smoke I figured out how I could make nominating an episode for the FV awards easier for me and maybe even you guys. I will pick twelve episodes at random, and then you guys can choose which is the best of the twelve. Of course I'll just choose the one with the most nominations, that episode will get into the final awards. This'll probably run for a long time, nope actually it will run a long time but I'm in no hurry to announce any winners to any of the awards. Since there's a new episode every week, I will not include any B4FV Season Two or Season Four episodes in this, only the premieres will be included since they are the second parts to their previous seasons cliffhangers. Of course the next time I do these awards those two seasons will be included.

Since only 108 episodes are being added to this nomination poll, only nine episodes will go into the final awards poll, so choose wisely people ^_^ Click here to vote in round one..

 24th September 2003
Sorry for the delay, episode 13 of B4FV Season Two is now uploaded and ready to read.

 20th September 2003
B4FV episode 12 Into the Darkness is now online, well it came online on the 16th, sorry about that. I forgot to make the last minute changes to remove the episode link from all the appropriate files. Anyway the episode, Is There Something is delayed for two to three days.. I'm not feeling too good at the moment >_< I did write a good few scenes for the episode, but it's obviously not enough to upload. I'll upload it as soon as I get better and write it. I did manage to correct two recent episodes which had only three mistakes between them (getting better ey ^_^), I read through them to try and get my mind off being ill, so I could write, it worked for a little while of course that's not the point.

Now Fifth Voyager 2004 is only ten weeks away, but it's never too early to start gathering up ideas for it. If you would like to make a suggestion, please post it here. If you don't have a suggestion or you haven't got time, you could vote in the poll via the same link.

 13th September 2003
Welcome folks to Version 4.2, hope you like it. As I've already said on the forum, if you don't like the design then don't panic. This version will only be around until 4th December. Of course if there's something that'll bug you for that long, please just tell me here. For once in a long time you can read up on what's different by checking out the News Articles link above.

 6th September 2003
This week is the final week for Version 3.2, September 13th will be the first day for Version 4.1, the final 2003 version. 2004 will have less versions, so don't worry ^_^ Anyway bad news folks I've had a really bad week when it comes to writing, several things have come up to stop me from doing so.. of course when there was nothing in the way I had writers block >_< I'm really REALLY sorry folks.. I do feel awful about this, I did try in the little time I had between Thursday and today with no luck. I have written out the plot, sorted out the saga timeline, thoroughly planned it all out, in an attempt to break the block, with no luck but at least this means when I do get out of the block I'll have no bother. I'll try to get the update finished for Tuesday (I originally wanted Monday, but I have to go to Wales by car to help my sister move back up here, and well that'll take all day since it's about three hundred miles away ^_^ At least during the time it takes to get to Wales, or back from there I can write, if the block's gone)

 30th August 2003
Today the saga begins, Resolutions Part 1 has been added to the archive. Second bit of news today, the nominations for best extra male/female characters has ended, you can now vote for your favourite two of the ten. A lot of the girls were nominated so I had to just put the girls with the most nominations into the poll. Only five of the boys were nominated, I couldn't narrow them down to four since three of them had equal amount of nominations. Having five characters in the poll worked for the girls as there were no ties for that, there would of been if I had to narrow them down to four. Why not go and vote for your favourite girl or boy by clicking here.. don't be shy. Also don't forget the best episode nominations are still open, so go and nominate your favourite episode here.

 24th August 2003
Next week marks the beginning of the Resolutions Saga, five whole B4FV episodes now weekly back to back. So today marks the end of Season Four for five weeks. After that Season Four will continue in the usual once a fortnight slot. Yes once again these are last minute changes, but the saga will be written by just me and well September and late August there will be just me around anyway. Raichu's getting ready to go to university, while Vulpix will be settling in a new job next week, meanwhile I'm still jobless and trying to entertain you guys ^_^

Anyway for now enjoy the latest Season Four material written by all three of us, you're just going to have me for five weeks so don't get used to it ~_^

 21st August 2003
Now that another movie is done, we can finally get back to normalness. Rest assured, just because the movie's finished doesn't mean that we're still not busy. Because of the movie, the writing schedule for Season Four's True Memories (which had to be written after the movie) and B4FV Season Two's Death Wish has been affected seriously. True Memories and Death Wish are now up. If everything goes according to plan we will give you Season Four's latest offering on the promised scheduled date. But for anyone who's new around here, things hardly ever go according to plan here. The last time things did the computer decided that it would go on strike and then my mam decided to announce that she wanted to properly move out in the same week. Because of all that the whole movie got delayed resulting in the now 'write three episodes in one week' problem. So no one get your hopes up. It makes you wonder how we've lasted nearly three years, doesn't it ^_^

Brief note: you may have noticed the Important Notice on the main page. It is a tribute to the show Futurama, which left UK screens 17th August 19:24 (just guessing the time) for good. All because of some dumb US network who can't see anything good if it hit them in the face, something should really. What makes you wonder is why can't they continue it on another network, or at least make new episodes for other countries? Also, lots of other crap remains on our screens and they appear to have no end, no matter how many season finales they have. The entire gang had a go at saving the series by signing the petitions, but all was ignored. Futurama only lived four to five years, and it's the only show I've ever watched since the beginning, and continued to follow until the end. I have all but one episode on tape, and the entire first season of it on DVD.. the show may have ended, but all is not lost, I can still watch one of my favourite shows for a long time yet.. while the 'mother' series, The Simpsons will continue to have a slow death. Rant ends...

 16th August 2003
Slowly but surely the site's getting back to normal. A lot has been going on, so here's hoping you'll all bare with us until it's all out of the way. The third movie is one of our more original ideas, if you get my meaning, so it has been difficult to write. Plus the new site, the Buzz, that Vulpix was going to run on her own had to get some good attention from me to get it going. Anyway getting to the point.. the latest Season Four episode is a little late, so there's barely anytime to get B4FV's latest episode, and updates for my other main site Roses Are Red started, let alone finished. Don't worry, the site is getting back to normal.. and it will be fully eventually. Not that this site has ever been the original definition of normal anyway ^_^

 9th August 2003
Well the third movie is starting to be a lot like the second movie. Due to poor writing and my mam's annoying timing, the third and fourth parts have been delayed. If you're wondering what I meant then I'll briefly tell you; mam moving out, I have to at least spend one night at her new place a week probably.. and that can only be at weekends. Of course she had to choose this week to do it >_< Anyway getting more to the movie point.. the episode that follows it will have to be delayed too. We will do better with this movie, it took almost a month to do the second one (due to some similar problems, and even more personal ones ¬_¬) and we can't afford that to happen again. We will try to get both the movie and episode finished way before the next update.

 5th August 2003
My computer is fixed with a price, and an advantage. The price: lots of images of the cast are gone, so if I didn't have my old back up CDs I'd have to start from scratch. The advantage: my own computer is on the net now, so the site will be better because a) any files that have not been uploaded properly, has bizarre spelling mistakes lol, etc will be fixed quicker. B) those annoying CD problems will be a thing of the past, since everything will be uploaded straight from the home hard drive. C) if I feel like it, the site will be updated on different days with files like the Database, Picture Archive (when I get my picture folders sorted again), etc. Obviously episodes will still be added on Saturdays.

On another note, Vulpix and I apologise for finishing the episode so late. Sunday was a busy day for the computer, and Vulpix couldn't stick around all night on Saturday, obviously. I did say I was going to inform you, but it was very late when I left the computer and well my brain was more asleep than usual ^_^  Of course the infamous CD decided to forget that we even started the damn thing, so we had to restart the ep. Anyway now Symbiogenesis is up, again sorry about the delay.

Last but also least, because of all the bother the third part of the movie will be released on the same day as the fourth part.

 2nd August 2003
The computer still isn't properly fixed, but it's working for now. Of course I had to temporarily (lets hope) sacrifice my minor hard drive, which has most of my pictures of the FV cast on it, to get this up so I hope you enjoy the new material. Part 2 of Fifth Voyager III -- End of the Line is up a day late, couldn't help that sorry. The latest B4FV Season Two offering is still in the works as we speak, so that'll be up later. Of course if Vulpix and I still haven't finished it, we will inform you. Anyway to keep you going until that ep's released, check out the FV Database for some new B4FV info.. the season finale has been changed and two more episodes have been added to the season listings.

 1st August 2003
I know what you'll be thinking after I've told you this bit of news.. updates to all sites have been delayed since my computer has decided to muck up my hard drives. I don't know how long this millionth round of the war between the computer and I will last, but rest assured I will come back with updates eventually. I know, the timing couldn't get any better this time, could it?

 29th July 2003
Don't worry any B4FV readers, I have been informed about the 'Starships Cannot Run' problem via email, and I am fixing it now. I double checked the CD with all those update's files on. It seems that I uploaded the unfinished file, from the CD, onto the net. We finished the rest of the episode on mam's computer on the update day, and we just forget that we only saved it on the hard drive. It should be properly up now.. sorry about that. That should be up later, depending on when we can find the damn file. The second part of that problem is quite weird, cos the web one cuts off in a different place to the file on the CD.. still it's not the first time that's happened.

Other news, Part One of the third movie is up.. are you getting a feeling of deja vú, or is it just me? ^_^

 26th July 2003
Well it looks like we'll be very busy in the next two weeks.. the third movie will go on for two weeks while B4FV episode Symbiogenesis will be released also. Of course there is a lot more work to do than I've mentioned, but I shouldn't bore you any longer.

 24th July 2003
I think the site has moved completely to it's new home, hope it runs better for you guys now ^_^ Two new episodes today, better make them a quick read since the next installment of Season Four will be released Saturday. For those who have voted and/or nominated in the Fifth Voyager Awards so far, thank you very much. I wasn't expecting this many voters. Of course if you haven't voted or nominated yet, please do. While the FV awards is quite successful, the competition at Five Minute FV is slowly rotting away. There must be some more creative people out there who can take part.. please, if you are creative and/or have a sense of humour, please enter the comp here. Since the comp was delayed for a while, the most recent season finale/premier has been added to it.

 12th July 2003
Sorry the update's a little late, the site's still moving to it's new home. Anyway Season Four has begun, and we're only over half way through our third year. Not that bad ey? ^_^ We at Fifth Voyager have tried to make Season Four's premiere the best premiere yet, to try and compete with original Voyager's Season Four premiere (hardest premier yet I think, so we're doomed ^_^). Remember though, after the second episode of Fifth Voyager's fourth season we'll have that third movie that's been promised for a while now.

Ok, now time for the bad news.. I have a full schedule due to events at home (don't ask, it's been going on for a year), next week so it'll be a late update. We're going back to Wednesday updates for one week, so expect the next update to be the 23rd July hopefully ^_^

 7th July 2003
We're back from holidays a little late, and we're ready to entertain any poor souls who read this series ^_^ During the holiday we came to a group decision that the third movie will be End of the Line instead of Half of the Heart. Half of the Heart will be the second episode of Season Four, and the movie will be after that episode. See Season Four section for movie release dates.

For now though, enjoy the two finished episodes and I'll see you next Saturday with the beginning of Season Four ^_^

 14th June 2003
Welcome one and all to Version 3.2. I hope you like the new bright summer version, but remember if there is any problems please report it. As you may or may not know, the site will not be updated for another two weeks after this update. You need not plan a party just yet, the whole gang are only going on a much needed holiday together. Expect an update on the 5th July.. mark your calendars ^_^

Don't forget if you haven't took part in the competition and you're still interested, then try entering.. we wont bite ^_^ Also, we hope you enjoy the latest edition to B4FV Season Two, Whenever (Parts 1/2)
Also be aware that the site is still under maintenance until the 16th at the latest. The only things that'll probably not work will be the (name).fifthvoyager.net addresses, like the forum, the guestbook, and the email addresses wont work either. I'd avoid sending emails anyway, unless you email me before the 16th. I doubt anyone will need this but my Yahoo email address is marillena_2002@yahoo.co.uk, Vulpix's is evilslayer_2002@yahoo.co.uk, and the whole gang's one is fvwebmasters@yahoo.co.uk.

And with that it's time for me to leave you.. see you all in two weeks, lotsa love Marill and the rest of the gang xxx ^_^

 5th June 2003
June's here at long last, hopefully now there will be less of the bad news and more of the good kind. I know this update's a day late, so that's not a good start is it ^_^ Anyway there's just one update left until the whole gang disappear for two weeks, I bet you are all looking forward to getting rid of me ^_^

Five Minute FV's deadline has been extended, see the competition page itself for details..

The latest entry to B4FV Season Two will hopefully appear tomorrow.. I must apologise about that. There is a lot going on at the moment, my mam's getting ready to move to Gateshead, the gang and I have a holiday to organise, I have a lot of stuff to record these days *shrugs*, I consider friends more of a priority (no offense intended people ^_^), plus I have been asked for a birthday list by my mum and it ain't that easy to think up stuff for it. Three of the things I mentioned will be all out of the way by July anyway ^_^

 28th May 2003
Last update for May.. I for one am very happy about that. Now I can look forward to June, home of my birthday and a nice two week holiday ^_^ See schedule for episode release dates during June.. Also if you want to take part in the Five Minute FV competition and you haven't gotten around to entering, I must warn you there isn't much time left. As soon as next week's update pops up the entry form will be gone. Quickly now people, click here to get to the form ^_^

Down to business then.. I must apologise about all the @fifthvoyager.net email addresses. I have just recently had to renew the email forwarding part of this account, since Namezero figured that they haven't given me enough problems as it is ¬_¬ I should of noticed the email problem ages ago, but never mind it's been fixed. If you've tried to report a problem, email us, or send us a top ten list and you didn't get a response or anything, please do so again.. we should get it this time around.

Hopefully problems like this will be long behind us very soon. I do want to set up the new account before the holidays and the next version of the site. I may have said it before but I'll say it again, I'll keep you updated on that.
Oh and starting next week we're going to be hosting The First Annual Fifth Voyager Awards (TFAFVA for short), where you will be able to choose the winners. Don't miss that ^_^

 21st May 2003
I have bad news for anybody who started to read the third movie. I have decided to make it the fourth season's movie for the following reasons:
 - When the movie was suppose to be wrote Global Cyber Cities deleted over 100mb of files so Vulpix and I had to spend four days reuploading MarilLena's Gallery. I know what you're thinking, we should of wrote during the wait but it's not as easy as it sounds. Vulpix was on hers, which is fine, but I was on my mam's which crashes more than mine does. I did write the first part with no problems with Vulpix sending me tips through MSN, and that's actually quite good. It did crash near the end, and it mucked up the end of the file. I know I should of mentioned the problems about the next parts not appearing sooner, but to be honest I totally forgot to mention it.
 - Before Outside of Time's second part was even started the computer had it's problems (see below articles). The plan was to write the second part or the movie, depending on what season mood we were in AND of course who was around at the time. Trouble is, neither items got wrote that week.
 - Season Three is now complete.. Trouble is the cliffhanger makes it impossible for us to base this movie in season four the way it is. It'll have to be totally re-written to fit season four and that'll take a lot of thinking time.
 - Last and very least, there is already a movie in Season Three. There shouldn't be two ^_^

I'll keep you up to date on what's going on with the movie when something does happen. All I can tell you for now is the current movie will have to be released before the episode End of the Line. The fourth and fifth movies will depend on how B4FV Season Three and FV Season Five will be arranged in 2004+

 14th May 2003
Well just let me say, the sooner this month ends the better ^_^ For now the computer is working, after days of formatting, reinstalling, smashing of sound cards etc .. oops sorry I didn't do that last one, but I was pretty close. In case anyone's wondering that was the problem, I don't understand how a mere sound card can affect the computer in that way, but it did. Oh last but certainly not least, I'm on Windows 98 for the first time in my life, *sarcastic voice* ooh yey. Believe me it's faster this way ^_^

On happier notes Outside of Time Part 2 and Scary But True Part 1 are both up (Outside of Time a little later than the update itself), most of both them were written last minute but rest assured, planning for both of them before/during the crisis took a long time.

On a less happier note, since my main hard drive got formatted I had to move everything to my secondary one. For some odd reason the files for Version 3.0 have been wiped. I remember checking last minute to see if they were there, and they were. The point of this story is that I have to start from scratch again, hopefully beginning work on Version 3.1 will begin sometime in the future.

Back to happy things (yey), everyone who's going on the yearly summer holls this year have decided that June is the best month after all. It's a good thing too, if I went on a plane in May, the plane would crash... no wait, the plane would nearly crash and I'd die of panic or something ^_^ The best time in June for everyone is right after my birthday, which is on the 13th (yey, Friday the thirteenth ¬_¬). I'll keep you up to date.

Finally, after the 4th June update the site will be updated on Saturday mornings. I know what you're thinking, I'll find a permanent update day sometime. People who visit this site Wednesdays will probably notice I don't always get everything uploaded in the 3pm - 5pm time slot. I figured Saturday will be better since I don't go out on Saturdays that much, and I'm not going back to my old Sunday update day. We write episodes from Saturday to Tuesday, and sometimes we fall behind so it'll be nice to have extra time for a change. If you think this whole changing update day is annoying, well all I can say is sorry. If it makes you feel any better, changing the update day is more awkward for me since I have to do a lot more file editing.

 7th May 2003
May once again causes havoc for the staff here at Fifth Voyager, mostly me in particular. My computer, which is the one we write most episodes on, including the season opener for B4FV Season 2, has been acting up. By that I don't mean it has an odd few errors now and then, firstly it had so many errors at once the screen was flashing every half second.. and eventually I couldn't even get into Windows. Hardware like the CDRom stopped working, but when it did Windows had to be reinstalled. Two days later the keyboard and mouse both stop working, the graphics card went screwy, putting it mildly, so more software had to be reinstalled. My overall point is that because of all the work to fix this computer, we can't actually get to the episode files. The season opener was begun but I couldn't finish it off because of the computer itself. At the moment the fan inside the computer threatens to go off any second, so I had to use my mam's computer to get this small update to you. Everything else is up cos I can download any files and edit them, plus Five Minute FV was on an old Updates CD. Unfortunately the only thing I don't have for you is the most important thing, Outside of Time Part 2. When the fan problem is fixed AND the computer behaves itself, I'll get the episode finished for you next week.

Anyway to celebrate the completion of Season Three and the beginning of B4FV Season Two next week we at FifthVoyager.net are going to start a 'brand new' competition (I have a weird feeling I've tried it before, but I probably just thought about it ^_^). People who've visited Five Minute FV in the past may have noticed it's lack of updates, so this competition has been brought on to try and get people (including us) interested again. If you have a better sense of humour than we do, or should I say have a good sense of humour, and you know Fifth Voyager enough, then why not join in? Click here for more details and to take part.

On a more happier note, Fifth Voyager won an award ^_^

 1st May 2003
Bad news I'm afraid.. well it's only bad for me mostly. Global Cyber Cities has gotten worse, all sites that are hosted there (Roses Are Red, MarilLena's Gallery, The Movie Archive, Five Minute FV) have been deleted, so all of them have to be reuploaded again. Lucky for any visitors all sites have re-directing URLs, so you don't have to remember a new address. This is where all the sites stand for now..
 - The Movie Archive is small enough to go to this account, so the movie will go on but at different times than originally planned (see MarilLena's Gallery part)
 - Five Minute FV will be hosted here from next week onwards. At the moment the site will remain closed.
 - Roses Are Red and MarilLena's Gallery are temporarily closed until Saturday. I will have to reupload over 100mb on Friday/Saturday, luckily it wont take as long since Vulpix has offered to upload some of the folders on the Friday afternoon *sighs in relief* Because of all that the movie will be delayed for just one day.

You'd think that if I paid for an account I'd have better luck, but nooo, not for me. People keep telling me that my bad luck has nothing to do with me being born on the 13th June, but I don't believe them for a second. I'm just so glad I didn't spend that much on the Global Cyber City account, it was a good offer at the time. Here's a tip folks, don't get the cheapest version of anything.. something's bound to go wrong.

 30th April 2003
Since Season Four is just over two months away, so we've had to work hard on it recently. In other words, we spent ages trying to plan each episode, plan out each major storyline carefully.. and let me just say we're almost finished all the major planning. Check out the FV Database for the Season Four listings, there's only about three episodes that haven't had the same treatment as the others, some others don't have any synopsis for very important reasons.

Getting onto a different topic; my other main site, Roses Are Red, will be hosting a brand new series to replace Double Trouble. I know, I've already told you.. I just have new news. What I didn't know then was that you need an account to actually vote in the series' poll on the forum ¬_¬ Until I figure out how to fix that, you can vote on Roses Are Red itself, from tomorrow onwards of course. If you can't stand Pokémon or you do and you totally despise Team Rocket (I cannot see how anyone could ~_^) then you'll not want to go to Roses Are Red. So for all you anti Pokémon/Team Rocket people, or the lazy people like me, here's a more direct link to the poll.

Back to Fifth Voyager, don't forget to check out the two brand new episodes (second one released tomorrow), like I promised. And don't forget to see the third movie start off tomorrow. Don't worry horror and/or the Mummy saga haters, it ain't a Mummy inspired movie like the others. That reminds me, we really need a Scorpion King inspired movie ~_^

 19th April 2003
Better tell you now than on the actual update day, there's been another last second decision made. As hard it is to believe I need a week break to do something out of routine, and to search for a job. This has got nothing to do with the others though, it's just me. I promise I'll get both due episodes (The Deception/The Moving Shadow) up on the 30th. I just don't want to rush an episode like The Deception on the only day I'll have spare between now and Wednesday, at least this way I can get both episodes written around the same time as each other.. they are both linked to each other after all, they're like one big four parter with different titles. The same goes for the other sites I run too.

Secondly, the Magazine is late for an update.. once again. I spoke to Vulpix about it before we started The Deception off, she made a few excuses up ^_^ but she says it'll be updated either this Monday, next Monday or the Monday after that.. I thought I was bad. I still do though, I'll probably spend the next few days worrying about episode deadlines and update problems. You know there's probably a few people who'll be thinking 'god, she really should get a life' ^_^

 16th April 2003
As most of you (actually probably none of you) may have noticed, there is another new forum. I figured the previous forum was a waste of time since everyone's refused to use it, obviously. The new forum is banner free, and looks a lot neater, so please *gets on knees* use it!! *coughs* If the link leads you back to the main site or the old green forum, just use this link. Namezero have been bought out so the whole re-directing fifthvoyager.net URLs act up if you change them ¬_¬

Anyway off topic, the sister series Double Trouble has reached the end of the road, it'll officially be finished tomorrow. With bad news there's sometimes, if you're really lucky, good news too. I think the problems with Double Trouble this time was that none of us are used to writing the original Pokémon Jessie & James, AND we (mainly me) were trying a little too hard to make the series funny yet have decent storylines (a little like Fifth Voyager in a way). Fifth Voyager's 'humour' is simple, I dunno how to explain it but it is, Double Trouble was way too hard. Or maybe I'm just trying to find fault with the series when it's really my fault for leaving the series for so long.

The good news is what, you're asking.. maybe, I dunno what you're thinking ^_^ Since the Double Trouble idea was introduced for me to use my idea for an old Kidz Trek sub series without getting sued by 4Kids and the guys who make Reboot ^_^ I want to have another try at starting a new series, this is the last time.. I promise! This time I will write five to ten episodes to get it going, before it's actually released. You never know, you probably wont even see it if it goes wrong. I have polls going on at the forum to let anyone decide the series name, and the characters names. Please check it out, just visit the main forum and go to the Roses Are Red forum. Oh and another thing, this series will be less Pokémony than the last two attempts. It'll be a Fifth Voyager crossover series, the main stars are Liger Slayers from our present day ^_^ How do you like that?? There's a poll to find out people's opinions on this at the forum too, so if you're bored go and vote there too.

 9th April 2003
I forgot to mention this earlier, but better late than never. Vulpix will be really interviewing me for The Magazine, I don't understand why but I really shouldn't argue. Anyway the point is if you want to ask me a question, just go to the Magazine.. or click on this link. Just scroll down the main page and you should find the small form.. or alternatively you can email Vulpix, just go to Contact to get her address. OR you could use the forum for a quicker response.. hint hint ^_^

Oh and since we didn't get Holy Matrimony finished until nearly last minute there is a very low chance we'll get the movie done for tomorrow.. so we've decided to put it back to after the episode The Moving Shadow, the episode before the cliffhanger episode. It's still not decided whether the the third movie will be based after The Moving Shadow, instead of being based after Holy Matrimony. Don't worry, we'll work it out before the time.

 3rd April 2003
Just a quick note, I tried to upload the files for two of Vulpix's sites that are hosted on Fateback, BUT when I checked them they were not working. The worst part is that I host my Zoe Birkett and Double Trouble sites there too, and yes they had the same problem. I checked and the problem's been fixed. That's the good news this week. The bad news is that this is the third week in a row that the site's been updated on a Thursday.. this time it wasn't my fault, the computer my mam owns is the only computer with internet access and it totally messed up my updates CD. I would of updated later in the night but my mam uses the computer after 7ish, so this is the best I could do. And the morale of the story is, don't visit a certain H & Claire site to get pictures from a video, try and get more of them yourself. Don't ask, that site did start off the problem, that's all I'll say.

 27th March 2003
Sorry once again for updating a day late.. we made a last minute decision about Raichu's birthday. Luckily we, or rather an odd few of us, are not the club type or I wouldn't be updating until Friday ^_^
Secondly since yesterday was one of those rare times where the whole gang are together, we did get some of Season 3 sorted out. We thought Season 3 needed some changing around. Thirty one episodes is a bit too much, so we've turned it to twenty nine. Also because of the changes, we have B4-FV Season Two starting one week, and the Season Three finale the following week.

Thirdly the gang will be going on holiday this year, just like every year since this site started (no it's not an excuse for us to have two weeks off writing, it's just a coincidence.. no really honest. To be honest the yearly holidays started in Summer 2000). The last two years we went around June/July time but this year we're hoping to have our holiday in early/mid May.. but because I will be the only one short on money in the upcoming months (not telling why, so there ^_^) it'll probably be June after all. But I thought I should warn you guys just in case we do go in May. I'm not going to change the episode schedule until we know for sure.

 22nd March 2003
I'm sorry about Witchcraft, I was very sure I put the episode onto CD.. but I didn't. I did check my updates CD, for some odd reason I put the file fv3-20.htm onto the CD instead of fv3-21.htm ¬_¬ I did that with Paris Camera recently, so lets just hope it wont be a regular thing.

 20th March 2003
As you probably have noticed, the site is at a different location at the moment. Where we are now is just temporary. Soon we'll be moving to a more permanent place that will hopefully be more reliable. When that happens I've been told the site will be down for three days, I will keep you up to date about that, I promise. Whenever that happens, if I can, I'll re-direct you to a different place for those three days. If you're wondering what happened to the old host, well lets just say it isn't very reliable. You may have noticed the site being down a couple of times, and one update was delayed a day because of that. Luckily I didn't pay that much for that space, they're expecting me to pay more (probably) for a crappier plan at the end of the year. Cue rolling eyes people.

On a lighter note, Vulpix will hopefully be re-opening J-Steps next Monday. Just in case it does, here's the link: j-steps.8m.net.

Lastly, I'm sorry for not updating yesterday.. to tell you the honest truth, Raichu and I didn't get Witchcraft finished until late Wednesday night.

 12th March 2003
Well it's officially spring here at Fifth Voyager 2003. Everyone please welcome Version 2.1 *cue applause* ^_^

Over the coming months the site will continue to improve when I reopen the Picture Archive, and sort out the empty Message Board. Also don't forget to check out the B4-FV season finale, Outside of Time.. unless you're under 15 and/or don't like slash/horror stories. Luckily none of us are that experienced with writing slashy fics that give the right affect to the readers, but remember I put 15 for safety.

You'll probably be wondering why the news section is separate from the updates, well so are the rest of the writers too be honest. I just thought we should try something different, that's all. Plus it wont take as long to load all that writing just when you want to read the updates ^_^ Anyway, hope you like the new design and enjoy the B4FV Season Finale.

 5th March 2003
Ok, a week late but better late than never. I have created the poll about the forums, please take part in it. Pretty please ^_^ Just click here for it.

Next Wednesday B4-FV's season finale will be released AND Fifth Voyager 2003 Version 2.1 will appear.
Oh and since Obsession still isn't working fully I figured I'd pull a 'Halloween' (merge both files together, it did work ^_^). Also the episode had to be cut down a little, the whole thing together was way too big (as in 'Light the Fire' big). So fingers crossed people.

 27th February 2003
I must apologise about not updating the site yesterday, Global Cyber Cities had gone down and I couldn't even get into the FTP manager. Luckily the delay gives Vulpix enough time to finish The 2003's (that'll appear sometime today or later in the week). Also she has officially apologised about the lateness of the episode Baby Don't Swear(etc). That episode was her second attempt at writing on her own and she didn't meet the deadline in time.

 20th February 2003
Since I've received a few complaints about the site being too cramped, I tried to fix the problem .. so behold Version 1.1 ^_^ It's less cramped, it should keep everyone going until Version 2.1 hits the net on the 12th March. If there's any problems with the site still, please email me.

Speaking of email I have put the proper email addys down on the main page, supposably the re-directing fifthvoyager.net ones aren't working very well.

Also I'm going to introduce a poll next week to decide which message boards to use. The Ezboards got a few regulars just the only problem was, was the annoying ads popping up. The new one has had no visitors so it's obvious that some people do not like it (or it does not work in some places). Until the poll is made I will welcome any comments via email (or report a problem, or on the empty forum ^_^) about this. I need to know which message boards you'd rather use. Thanks..

 5th February 2003
I did notice the problems with Second Chance and Obsession (still!), I will have a go at fixing them tonight.

 29th January 2003
New update day, lets see how long this one lasts ^_^  The only major news at the moment is the whole B4-FV episodes being changed around. Season 2 episode listings have been changed so the episodes fit into the original Season 2 better. Need more information about that? Go to the FV Database (<<). Of course if you're here for new material then we have plenty for you.. two brand new episodes ^_^

 24th January 2003
Sorry for missing last weeks update. I hardly call the reason why I didn't update on Friday a good enough reason but never mind. When you feel as beat up as I did last weekend, you really can't be bothered to do much.. Especially when you stayed up till 3 on the internet the previous Thursday night ^_^  So once again, I apologise for my usual laziness..

Also I'm changing the update day (again), the Friday update idea isn't working as well as it should. I have to be at college at 1, and I wont be back until 3. I have changed the update day to Wednesday.. Roses Are Red will be updated Thursdays again after it's birthday next week.

 13th January 2003
Hi folks, Vulpix here today. The FV Magazine will be up tomorrow so don't forget to check that out. Around the Nebula is up, sorry for the delay. It's getting to the point where we can't write a whole episode in one or two days. Still episode writing should never be rushed or it shows in the episode itself

I fixed The Fight too, hey am I good or what ~_^ Oh and I also managed to fit Second Chance into the episode schedule, how it wasn't there to begin with is a mystery.

 10th January 2003
Obsession and The Fight still do not work, I will keep trying. Around the Nebula has swapped release dates with Learning Curve. Star Trek Nemesis inspired both Vulpix and I to write it ~_^ It isn't finished yet since we've both been at college, but Vulpix has promised to upload it when she updates her site on Monday. We should have it finished over the weekend.

Oh and I was thinking of changing a Season 4 episode title just because someone has claimed it's theirs. I changed my mind, I did come up with it first, and I'm sticking to that. Secondly, if that person is reading.. no I will not burn in hell just yet, it's only an episode title. I'll probably be damned for more serious offenses in later life anyway, you know like messing with the time space continuum or murdering the Pepsi managers for taking over the UK. And no it's not Cherry Coke this time, it's actually Coca Cola *cue everyone to faint*

 4th January 2003
Hi everyone, welcome to 2003 ^_^ I have good news, and only good news for once. At least one of the broken episodes have been fixed. Vulpix did tell me it was fixed, but she said Sweet was working on it's release date, so I had to check for myself. Two browsers can't be wrong so The Revenge is most probably fixed. Sweet and the final Games Matrix parts look like they're up too. That just leaves two episodes to fix, wish me luck.

Secondly f you click on old links to Song Parodies then you'll get to the suppose to be closed section. If I've remembered to delete the file that shouldn't be possible now.

Last but not least the schedule has been changed around so the B4-FV Season 1 finale will be the 100th episode.
